My Matchbox Girls are magnets, and the most whimsical pieces that I create. I was inspired by the kind of art that I created as a child, often transforming discarded objects. I often reference iconic female figures or people I know for the girls. The Matchbox Girls have inspired me to write a short story, which I plan to illustrate, and publish a children’s book.
